Speech Therapy in Schools

We understand that budgets can be tight and as such are able to offer a range of affordable packages to nurseries and schools. Please contact us for information on package fees. Work within settings may involve:

  •  identification and diagnosis of Speech, Language and Communication Needs
  • assessment of individual pupils and written reports/advice
  • intensive individual or group therapy sessions
  • joint planning of lessons with teachers to support pupils with Speech Language and Communication needs within the classroom
  • joint writing of IEP targets for pupils based on National Curriculum levels
  • support to differentiate the curriculum for children with significant Speech, Language and Communication needs
  • 1:1 in class support
  • teaching specific topic vocabulary e.g. maths or science vocabulary
  • teaching vocabulary used in exam questions
  •  meeting with key members of staff working with a pupil
  • liaison with NHS SLTs/other key professionals involved with a pupil
  • signposting the need for other professional involvement
  • attendance at parent’s evenings, meetings, reviews, INSET days
  • whole school or individual training in specific areas of Speech, Language and Communication needs
  •  joint working to achieve Inclusion Chartermark/Communication Friendly School status

All of our therapists are Enhanced DBS checked and are trained in Level 3 Safegaurding Children,
