Who are we

We are a small team of highly skilled private Speech and Language Therapists with a wide range of experience in specialist multi-disciplinary centres, nursery and school settings. Offering a quality, individualised, and functional service to children aged 0-18 years within nursery and school settings. Our therapy techniques are based on up to date clinical research and recognised best practice.

Rebecca Osborn: Rebecca has 15 years postgraduate experience of working with children with a range of speech, language and communication difficulties within a wide variety of settings including Pre-school settings, Mainstream Primary and Secondary schools and Child Development Centres. Rebecca has continued to undertake specialist postgraduate training particularly within the area of Autism Spectrum Disorder, including SCERTS,  the Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) and Intensive Interaction. Rebecca has experience in running social thinking groups based on the programme developed by Michelle Garcia Winner as well as Zones of Regulation groups to support children with emotional regulation needs. Rebecca also has extended training in Bond Solon Medico-legal report writing.

Rebecca has extensive clinical experience in assessment and writing detailed, specified and quantified reports for the EHCP process for Local Authorities within London and Kent and is available to support families with assessment for tribunal, specifically for children with Autism.

Sonya Wood: Sonya graduated from City University with a PGDip in Speech & Language Therapy in 2003.  She has worked within the NHS for over 12 years, and has been a Stammering Specialist since 2008.  Sonya has worked in Mainstream Schools, pre-school settings and Special Schools.In this time Sonya has worked with a range of children with Speech Language and Communication needs and has developed specialist skills and knowledge in the areas of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Stammering.  Sonya has continued to undertake specialist postgraduate training including Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS), Intensive Interaction, Challenging Behaviour, Palin Parent Child Interation (PCI), Makaton and Working in schools with pupils who stammer.
